Our clients craved a space that was functional for a bustling family life (hello, kids and constant entertaining!) but also a showstopper. The goal? To create a timeless kitchen and pantry that felt like an extension of the home's traditional bones while making a strong statement. Challenge accepted.
We played with several color schemes before landing on a soft, airy blue that whispers calmness. This dreamy hue graces the shaker-style cabinetry on the range wall, island, and sink section. But wait, there's more! To ground this serene blue, we introduced grain-matched walnut cabinetry with a sleek slab door style. The contrast? Chef's kiss.
You know what they say—it’s all in the details. From the stone ledge at the range wall with its dreamy plaster hood to the stone waterfall sink front that’s basically kitchen jewelry, every inch of this space was designed to dazzle. We mixed slab and shaker door styles in inset cabinetry for a blend that's both classic and trendy. These selections carry through to the pantry and desk to unify the connected spaces.
If there’s one feature that makes my designer heart skip a beat, it's the custom walnut arch wall. Imagine built-in appliances seamlessly integrated with glass armoire pieces, creating a statement that just oozes sophistication. We wanted it to be the crown jewel of the kitchen, and honestly, mission accomplished.
This kitchen is like your favorite playlist—a perfect mix of timeless classics with a few funky hits to keep things interesting. The soft blue brings tranquility, the walnut adds warmth, and the soapstone? It grounds the entire space with understated elegance.
